How to Use NILLIK

A step-by-step guide to screening CVs, scoring candidates, and sharing results with your team.

Step 01

Create a Job Requirement

Start by defining what you're looking for in a candidate. Go to the Requirements page and create a new requirement.

  • Give your requirement a clear title (e.g. "Senior Frontend Engineer")
  • Use the markdown editor to describe the role requirements — skills, experience, qualifications, and any other criteria
  • You can create multiple requirements for different positions and reuse them across scoring sessions

Step 02

Create a Scoring Session

Once your requirement is ready, create a scoring session to start evaluating candidates.

  • Go to the Scoring page and click "New Session"
  • Select an existing requirement or enter your criteria manually
  • Upload candidate CVs in PDF format — you can upload multiple files at once
  • Click "Start Scoring" and our AI will begin analyzing each CV against your requirements

Step 03

View Results & Candidates

After processing completes, you'll see a ranked list of all candidates with detailed scores.

  • Candidates are ranked by total score — the best matches appear first
  • Each candidate receives a breakdown: Skills (50%), Experience (35%), and Education (15%)
  • Click on any candidate to see the full AI analysis, including strengths and areas of concern
  • Use filters and sorting to explore the results further

Step 04

Share Results

Easily share your scoring results with hiring managers or team members — even if they don't have a NILLIK account.

  • Open a completed scoring session and click the "Share" button
  • A unique shareable link will be generated
  • Optionally add password protection for extra security
  • Set an expiration date if you want the link to auto-expire
  • Anyone with the link (and password, if set) can view the results without signing in

Tip

  • Write detailed requirements for more accurate scoring results.
  • Upload CVs in PDF format for best results — scanned documents work too.
  • You can reprocess individual candidates if you update your requirements.
